Light dinner in Venice - for 7 people

Jump to last reply

I wrote a bit about my planned travel to Venice, St. Jeannet, FR and Paris in July with my school friends (of 40 years ago). We have finalized all plans and everything is looking good. We arrive in Venice on the morning of July 5th and leave VERY early morning on the 7th. This is just a "quick taste" of Venice for those who haven't been. The hub and I have been a few times.

This is a group who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but would enjoy a simple pasta or pizza dinner with beer and wine or first night in Venice. Can't ask a concierge as we've rented an apartment. Can anyone make a suggestion, keeping in mind that it's the height of tourist season and we are a group of 7?

I don't mind winging it much of this trip, but the first night after arrival I think we should have something buttoned down.

Thanks!!
