Light A Candle on 9/ll at 8pm

Why don't we all light a candle and put it where it can be seen in remembrance of the people that were murdered by the attacks.
We should all light a candle to remember all the Al-Qaeda victims - direct and indirect: all the innocents killed in America on 9/11 and all the innocents killed in Afghanistan by smart bombs.

Citizen of the World....

We all grieve for the innocents killed in Afghanistan. But please tell us, what do you mean by the "Al Qaeda victims"?

"Al Qaeda victims" would include all who died in the twin towers, the women and many men in Afghanastin and several other 3rd world countries.

Too bad. Several posts about lighting a candle have been removed without comment.

Fodors, get over it. We're not harassing anyone. We're just asking folks to unite.

Can't you please let this post remain...at least for today?

PLEASE???

If everyone keeps it cool, the thread will stay on. There was some nasty stuff slipped in on one of the threads that got deleted. Peace to all.

Bonnie, Fodors has removed at least 6 threads suggesting a candle tribute. No idea at all why, unless the nasty notes were incorporated in each of the 6.

Fodors does not want us to promote the candle idea. Period.

Alber,

If they are removing 9/11 candle posts, why are they leaving this one up?
