I will combine Madrid and Sevilla better than Sevilla Lisbon.
I am now living in Madrid and therefore I am sure I might not be objective, but I think Madrid has much more to offer than Lisbon specialy at that time of the year.
Lisbon is a beautiful place but more summer oriented. Nice beaches and outside life. While Madrid is better to visit outside the hot summer time.
Its a pitty you do not have the mistaken 89 days, you could then visit many more places.

While Lisbon is a beautiful city it does not have the museums, activities, or access to other close interesting towns that Madrid has.

Are you sure? How about Sintra, the Algarve, and Albufeira? I've never been to Lisbon but I have read about these places and would like to go sometime. I also have heard that Lisbon is more reasonable than Madrid if that is a consideration.
Madrid is wonderful and I just loved it when I was there last February. Stunning is how I would describe the city. I had not been back in almost 20 years and I couldn't get over how beautiful I thought it was. Many buildings have been renovated. I loved the architecture.

I concur with car & Aduchanp1 on Madrid; there is a saying: "de Madrid al Cielo" that translates to 'from Madrid to Heaven,' (i.e., if you're insearchofheaven you may find it in Madrid).

I like Lisboa a lot & have visited there numerous times, but late Nov for 8-9 days the weather along the Portuguese coast may be a factor. That said, I think Lisbon is much more 'laid back' than Madrid.

Much depends on how old your baby is an how much a burden he/she may be in just getting around.

Ease of travel between your two selected destinations (Sevilla-Madrid or Sevilla-Lisbon) might be the deciding factor for me. AVE service between Madrid & Sevilla might be the deciding factor.
