LHR to Waterloo, decipher message

Jump to last reply

I was using the National Rail website's Trip Planning tool to see how to get from LHR to Waterloo and I received the following message:

"Ticket purchases & collections from London Heathrow
Through tickets from London Heathrow terminals to National rail stations where the journey begins on the Underground are not available to purchase or collect at London Heathrow."

yet the site provided me with the cost of the fare, times, and underground line directions (Picadilly>Northern). Does the message mean that I can't actually purchase tix at the airport?? I had hoped to purchase Oyster cards there...

BTW, we are arriving at T1

Thanks in advance.
