LHR Connection Time and Fast Track
I'm flying NAS to MUC via LHR with a 55 minute layover. Our flight from LHR to MUC is Club Europe so I believe we can use Fast Track.
They usually allow us to print both boarding passes in The Bahamas and check our bags all the way through (atleast they did last time when we did NAS to CDG via LHR), so with bags checked all the way through and Fast Track option, should we be okay?
It was either that or a 4 hour layover which I was really trying to avoid.
Is FT only for Security? What about Immigration? If I recall correctly, since we weren't staying in the U.K., immigration wasn't too long or strict.

If you're on one ticket and if both NAS and MUC are abroad, there's no immigration. You seem to speak reasonable English: so why not write your questions in it?
If the whole journey is on BA, they'll put you on the next available flight if you're late arriving from wherever NAS is

>>> we have a 2 1/2 hour layover in LHR before heading to Nice.
What kind of connection is this?
Best: both flights on one reservation.
Worst: two different tickets with checked luggage using two carriers without luggage transfer agreement.

2 1/2 hours is fine. 55 minutes is too short, I would not be happy with this. Don't know what NAS is but presume it's not in Europe as you mention the Bahamas. If your flight is on time you might make it. We had a connection like that with BA last year, and didn't make it.

Use this:

It says you have less than the minimum time needed.

With only 55 minutes you'd better cross your fingers and offer up a prayer or two. If everything goes perfectly, and everything seldom does when it comes to flying, you just might make it. It's not a connection I'd make.

55 minutes is really short and would usually not be within my comfort zone, though in OP's case, I'd do it - especially if this connection was sold as it is by British Airways directly. The legal Minimum Connecting Time is something different than the suggested connecting time in that LHR video.
The worst thing that can happen will be that you miss the connecting flight to Munich and get re-booked on that flight which leaves 3 hours later.
Traveling in Club Europe/ Business will give you enough status to get on the next flight. LON-MUC is a highly competitive route with four airlines so I doubt you will have problems getting an available seat on the next flight - with the possible exception when there is Oktoberfest.
Flights from the West often arrive ahead of time - so it could very well be that your actual transfer time is 70 or 90 minutes instead of 55 minutes.
Just keep in mind that even when both flights arrive and depart from Terminal 5, this does not mean that it's happening all in one building. T5 has two midfield piers which require a train ride to get to/from. So this would add more minutes to the transfer procedure.

You get booked onto the next flight WITH SPACE.
55 minutes suggest that there has been a schedule change since booking - or that "someone" has cobbled together two separate flights. If the former then BA should eventually sort it out, if the latter you are in deep do-do.

What dotheboyshall said. Being in business is no help if there are no seats. And no help if there are passengers with more status who want available seats. Personally I prefer to reduce stress as much as possible when flying and would never have considered this connection. If you're in business you have access to the lounge, right? Chill out there and eat lunch.

Thanks everyone for the needback. NAS is Nassau, The Bahamas. I am American so naturally I would speak good English.
The reason for the rushed connection is that we have less than 24 hours in Munich before heading to Salzburg so wanted to maximize time but based on this feedback I'm going to contact BA to see about a longer connection. We used points to book so should be an easy change. Thanks everyone!
