LHR - American Airlines Terminal

I am curious because I assumed it was terminal 4 and that all international flights went thru terminal 4. However, I saw another post from someone flying United from Terminal 3? Thanks!

It's normally BA long haul that uses T4, some other small airlines do use it for some flights

According to the Heathrow Airport website all AA flights go from T3 as do United

From Heathrow Airport website

Flights departing from Terminal 4 are mainly operated by British Airways (and partners) and KLM, to European and long-haul destinations.

We recently flew from the US on American Airlines to Heathrow and landed at Terminal 3. We had a great flight and were able to go through immigration very quickly and catch the tube into Central London.

The easy way is to view AA's web site.

I don't like many airline web sites, as you can't find out much information. However, AA is different. They're good about showing available seats, ability to change your seat online, etc...

That being said, go to flight status, put your flight number in, use 'today', and it will tell you the terminal and the gate of departure and arrival.

"Why is this post being repeated?" The OP double posted back on the 2nd. Can't blame folks for not knowing there were already a thread/answers for the same question . . . .

BTW - The arrival gate for a particular flight today will have little bearing on the gate on another day.
