Levanto, Italy B&B

We are looking for a spot in or near Levanto for a one night stay this June. We have 3 children so it needs to be family-friendly. The more authentically "Italian", the better! Something under 300 Euros for all of us.
Any ideas?

You can narrow the search of B&B's by location or amenities.

We had a one night stay in Levanto with our two children some years ago. We stayed in a small hotel with a garden in the middle of the town and it was a big hit. The bedroom ceiling had frescos on it!
It was called something like the Santa Maria and was family run.
We were the only non Italians there and we had to take half board but the food was wonderful. The wife had been cooking when we arrived and she asked my daughters into the kitchen to help her make the pasta, which they loved.
I'll dig out the name when I get home. Oh -I think it was called the Stella Maris.

Many of these hotels have breakfast included.

www.booking.com/Levanto

Look for larger rooms
[quad] and then e-mail the hotel to confirm five in a room.

You will find Stella Maris on this site.

Many thanks. Bob, I just emailed Villa Margherita. It looks gorgeous.
I will check out the other links above as well.

Is there another town close by that you would recommend? Many of the B&B's and hotels have no availability.

You can search by map on the link I listed above to see what is close. You can also use the link to send a blanket request for availability to the B&B's in the area.

Look in Monterosso al Mare and use Booking.com to screen availability for you. It has the best transport options and is the largest of the CT villages with more hotels.

kybourbon thanks, that is a great link. I have sent out a blanket request to all b&bs in the area. Very efficient way to do it.
Bob, I will do a filter through booking.com and see what I find.
I am wondering at this point if we head a little further north along the coast. We are driving from Goult, France which is about a 5hr drive. Wondering what might be a little north of Genoa to cut an hour off our drive time?

If you wanted to be a bit closer and perhaps only have a four hour drive, Camoogli is a wonderful seaside town. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/camogli

Camogli is a good idea---note spelling for any search.
