I have eaten here a few times--when the company is paying for it, as it is rather pricey. Is it really called café? It definitely qualifies as a full-fledged restaurant in my book.

This place is very chic, and there is really not anything 'Bavarian' about it, IMO. I did have venison last time, so on second thought, I guess they do try to absorb local flavor a little bit.
Overall, Excellent service, Great food and a good wine list. (Also, the best sashimi in Munich (not that you'd really be interested), but it costs like 5-6 Euro per piece).
It also has a nice bar. The perfect place for a cocktail.
zou will get used the z/y thing in no time! (at least zou didn't saz that z/y were in the 'wrong' place on Austrian and German kezboards
Thanks, Riffic, for the recommendation. We did go there our last night in Munich and had a great meal. My main course was St. Petersfisch (John Dory?), which I don't think I've ever had before but the server recommended. Our dessert was covered with a dome made of sugar (I presume) that the server ignited. It was quite a presentation.
