Lejre and surrounding countryside - need logistical advice!! HELP!!

In June 2012 my father and I will be spending a week in Denmark, based in Copenhagen. We plan to spend a day in Lejre, mostly because of it's iron-age connections and living history. Originally we were just going to visit the Land of Legends Open Air Museum, but I have discovered some other interesting locations in the vicinity, and wondered how to go about getting to them.

I know that to get to the "Land of Legends" park, one must take bus 233 from Roskilde, but how does one navigate around Lejre itself? In particular, I am interested in seeing:

The Tadre Water Mill ( Tadre Mølle )

Old Lejre ( Gammel Lejre ) with it's ship burial, burial mounds, and hall-remains.

Does anyone know how to get to these places without a car, a.k.a on public transport? I know there must be some way of doing this, by small local bus etc. but online information about it seems scarce, as I haven't yet found any... Has anyone been to these places, had experience with Lejre's public transport system, or have any useful information?? Please HELP!!
