Leaving in 6 days for Abruzzo, Puglia, Amalfi and Rome

Jump to last reply

1 year of planning and we are finally less tha a week away and wondering how I can feel totally unprepared!

A little worried about the language barrier as I am only on Lesson 16 of Pimsleur's Italian. Luckily my speaks some Spanish ansd Italian has been a bit easier for him than me. I have some French and find Italian confuding. What's with that?

I want to thank you for all your sharing of information re these areas of Italy that are poorly described on most sites. I found far and above the best and most information about Abruzzo and Puglia on this site.

I am determined to pay it back and will be journaling on the trip so tha I will be able to add anything useful to the mix.

We will be there from October 12 to November 12 and trying to pack only carryon crossing 2 seasons. I understand the weather is changing tomorrow. Going by the layering system.

The least information available was regarding Abruzzo. Still perusing sites for restaurant tips. Not fancy, but good food for good value. We will be in Bugnara, a few miles from Sulmona.

Ciao
