Learning about making parmesan cheese -- museum or dairy farm?

We are going to be in the Parma area and are debating whether to go the the Museum of Parmigiano-Reggiano, c/o Corte Castellazzi, Via Volta, 5 Soragna (Parma), or to visit a caseficio for a tour of a dairy farm where the cheese is produced. The tours are arranged by the consorzio and visit different farms. I think an English-speaking tour of the dairy farm can be arranged. I don't know yet whether the exhibits in the museum are labled in English.

I'd be interested in hearing from people who have done one or both of these.
