Can anyone give me info on this? I'm wanting to stop by a children's home or women's shelter to make a donation or bring food etc.

That age group likes just about anything that is American. Hanna Montana, Lizzy McGuire and all of those shows are the mainstay of youth programming on TV. (And yes, I understand that even though the characters are 15-16 supposedly, the main target is about age 8.)
