Last night - morning flight from Heathrow... lodging

Hello
I am plotting out our last night. We are coming from Windsor and will need to check into Heathrow airport by 7AM. Any thoughts for where to stay? I have looked into staying that the hotel - but I was wondering if anyone had a place of interest that would be in reasonable distance to the airport for around 200 dollars a night???

Thanks again!

If you are coming from Windsor, why not just stay there for the night then catch a bus or taxi to Heathrow in the morning, it's not that far. If you already have accommodation at Windsor, it doesn't make sense to move for one night, especially as Windsor and Heathrow are so close to each other.

My situation will be similiar, but we have a 7am flight from Gatwick. I actually got a great deal through Priceline.com. 3* hotel, 10 minutes from the airport for $65 USD. I would recommend checking out Priceline.com, with help from betterbidding.com.

I'd just stay in Windsor a night longer and get a taxi in the morning. At least at Windsor you can eat properly in decent restaurants and you'd be paying fro the trip from Windsor anyhow.

And it's almost as quick to get from Windsor to Heathrow as it is from a Heathrow hotel to Heathrow

Priceline is wonderful for LHR hotels (better even than for LGW in my experience)

But why? You are already in Windsor which is only 7 miles from the airport. Why pack and move 7 miles?

"<i><blue>a place of interest that would be in reasonable distance to the airport</i></blue>" That would be Windsor . . . .

We always stay at the Jury's Inn at Heathrow-walk up rate is usually aout 59 pounds for a triple room and around 48 on the internet. Its a great hotel for the price and the rooms were quite amble for a family of 3 with dining downstairs if you need it. There is actually a darling town just across from the highway that we always go for our last pub meal in the UK-really quaint and tasty!
