Last night in Athens, looking for hotel suggestions please!

My boyfriend and I are travelling to Greece this summer (May 24-June 10) on a shoestring (kind of). Were going from Santorini to Naxos to Paros (with a day trip to Delos) and then to Athens. Our ferry arrives in Athens Sunday and we'll be staying in a dorm for Sunday night and Monday night (possibly Athens Backpackers). Then our plan is to go on a 2 day Argolis trip to Nafplio, Mycenae, and Epidaurus. When we return on Wednesday, we would like to splurge a bit and stay at a nicer hotel since it is our last night together in Greece. Thursday we are not bothering to stay in a hotel since our flight is at 5am (gah!) We are trying to budget most of our accommodation for under 50 euro (for both of us). We are hoping that we will get even cheaper than this on the islands. On the last night, we are thinking that we would like to spend at most 150 euro. It does not need to be extravagant or 5 star. Keep in mind that we will be staying in a 4 person dorm, so we do not have the highest expectations! We would like it to be central (in a nice neighborhood), and clean and comfortable. I would really appreciate it if people could suggest some hotels and then I can take it in to my own hands to research them... I just need a few places to get started.

Thank you!!

First of all, on Naxos and Paros you should have no problem getting a room with private bath for €25-30 per night — I never pay more than that.

For a hotel in Athens, I was really happy last summer with http://www.athenscypria.com/, just off Syntagma Sq. I booked a Superior category room at under €100, and was upgraded to Luxury at no extra charge when I checked in. The room was huge, with separate sleeping and sitting areas, and had a large bathroom.

I also recommend Hotel Cypria. You can take the airport express bus from Syntagma Sq. which is an easy walk from the Cypria.

We stayed at Athens Gate hotel last year. Our room was pretty big by European standards, very comfortable and had a view of the Acropolis. There is a restaurant and bar on the very top of the hotel with outdoor seating with awesome views of the Acropolis on one side and Lycabettus Hill and the Temple of Zeus on the other. I think we paid right around 150 euros per night.
