www.laterooms.com? Might want to give them a try, although everytime I have looked at it, I didn't see any real "deals", but that would of course depend on where/when you were looking. Good luck

I would suggest Priceline - everything is done quickly and automatically and you are likely to get a good price. That's subject to all the usual caveats, of course.

Hi
I've been scanning info for London hotels myself lately.
Londontown.com is a great way to browse, because it narrows down the seemingly infinite number of choices.
However, I have not yet found that their prices are any cheaper (usually quoted without tax included) so be sure to contact the hotel directly for the best possible deal, to compare.

Also take a look at the Kensington Park Hotel. It is sort of central, and they have good prices at the moment, and good reviews here and at tripadvisor.com

Elaine, I have had a different experience with londontown.com.

I recently booked the Rubens Hotel thru londontown.com and after checking many other websites, I have yet to find a cheaper price. Their double room rate for May with breakfast is 106 GBP. With VAT, it's 125 GBP. The cheapest I have seen anywhere else is 140 GBP (including the Rubens own website), but most are considerably more expensive.

This may not be true for all hotels, but it has been my experience that londontown is definitely cheaper.
