Landing FCO-going straight to Pisa, to Florence back to Rome, Doable?

Jump to last reply

So my girl friend and I are planning a trip to Italy late Summer 2012, and we were wondering what king of options we had to get to Pisa, to Florence, back to Rome..... We were planning on staying there (Pisa) for about two days. Then we plan on leaving to Florence, for a day, and going back to Rome for our last three days. Is this realistic? We want to make the most out of our trip and sight see as much as we possibly can. in total, we will be in Italy for 6days. Staying up and getting up early are definitely options. We kind of enjoy the thrill of running around :) any information is very much appreciated!
