Lake Maggiore-swimming in July?

Does anyone know the water temp of Lake Maggiore in late June/early July? I would like to swim, but think it may be too cold!

Thanks!

If it has been a warm June, then swimming should be absolutely no problem. Locarno has a Lido with an outdoor swimming pool and Ascona has a beautiful sandy beach with big trees and green grass around it.

...and June is shaping up to be unseasonably warm. It's already in the low 80s F.
