Lacock to Moreton on the Marsh - possible?

I have an opportunity to get to Lacock but then need to get to Moreton on the Marsh. I checked on a goggle map which states it is an over an hour drive. Does anyone know what public transportation is possible in that area? I am wondering if I should skip the tour and head straight from Bath to Moreton on the Marsh....or change my plans entirely and skip Bath..?

You can take a train from Chippenham (about 5 miles from Lacock) change trains in Reading and then another train on to Moreton-in-Marsh (note the village name). The journey takes about 2 hours

Sorry janisj I stand corrected. I was afraid of that the journey might get complicated. I am wondering if I should stay the 2 nights in London and then head to Moreton-in-Marsh from there. Spend my 3 or 4 days in the Cotswolds and go back to London and then go to Bath. Does that sound less complicated? I really don't want to miss Bath this trip.

First bus 234 offers hourly bus service between Chippenham and Lacock, journey time 15 - 20 mins.

If you don't visit the abbey or stop for tea, Lacock is maybe a half hour "isn't it pretty" walk around. Otherwise plan on a half day.

I might just spend the first day in London, day 2 Oxford in the morning and stay overnight and head to Moreton-in-Marsh late in the day. I just read on another thread that there are some good bus connections to Oxford.
