La Luna, Montiel, or Can Ravell for dinner
I will be in Barcelona this June. There will be 10 of us, 5 adults and 5 children.(ages 10 to 15) I have dinner at Can Mano the first night and can't decided between Montiel, La Luna or Can ravell for the second. Any thoughts/

Most of the places I liked on my most recent trip last time would not be conducive for groups of 10, so I'm not sure I could help much...what kind of budget are you looking at? Any food constraints or do they eat anything?

I thought that the food at Tapac24 was very good. But they do not take reservations as far as I know, and can get crowded at peak hours. Seating is at the counter or at tiny tables and service is competent and quick. I would recommend highly for a quick meal; the remain open all day, as I recall, even for breakfast. Very casual kind of place. Central location, near Placa Catalunya. I wrote about it in my Barcelona Dining Report from 2011.
If you want to move up on the price scale, you could take a look at Cal Pep's sit down dining room (seafood is the forte here) or book a table at Hisop or Cinc Sentits, where I had two great dinners last winter. The latter is a very hard table to get, though.
You can reserve at the bar, or at a table, at PacomerAlgo, and they also have very good food.
I've not been to Gelonch and C Catalana.
One place I've been meaning to try is Taberna del Clinic; you could check it out. The chef worked at Can Fabes.

I'm pretty sure that the ten of you up in the small dining room at Cal Pep, as ekscrunchy suggests, would be something to remember. A special place, people que up in line long before opening to get a seat at the tapas bar downstairs. Expensive. http://calpep.com/ingles/ingles.html

Had a fabulous night at Cal Pep (downstairs in the tapas-bar) a few years ago, and it was recently panegyrically recommended in print and pictures by the most famous chef of my home-town Oslo during the past decade, Eivind Hellstrøm of former 2 Michelin star Bagatelle. Enjoy!

If you like clams, you should try the tallerines at Cal Pep; some of the best clams I've ever tasted!
