Kings Cross Station
Just a quick question - two actually -
a) I assume that I can purchase a 7-day (paper) travel card at Kings Cross Station. Can anyone confirm? (Kings Cross because that is the station where the York trains come in - I believe).
b) I have read that we will need passport size photos for the travel cards. Can someone confirm this is still necessary? I am having trouble find the requirement on the National Rail site. (http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_...pes/46575.aspx)
Thanks,

Just bring the photos. But yeah, you need them for the 7-day.
And yes, Kings X will cough up the 7-day paper cards. Just go to the right ticket booth - the one on the level on which you arrive, not the one down below in the Tube station.

Requirements for the photos are not bothersome. I cropped a Facebook photo of my face, enlarged it to the correct size and printed it on regular copy paper. Cut it out, and was done. When I purchased my card, the clerk attached it. It was not a great photo at all. Now that I think about it, a photocopy of a passport photo should work, too.
