Kindly critique our six-day London itinerary
We have a tentative itinerary for a few days in London in June. My husband and I are 50ish, in good health, enjoy museums and art galleries and walking. My husband only has a limited tolerance for museums before he needs to get to a pub We will be staying in the Earls Court area. I wonder if you might take a look at our planned schedule and see if there are any busts. Many thanks!!
Day One (Wednesday)
Arrive Gatwick at 10 am, arrive at hotel (Earls Court area) around noonish?
Borough Market for lunch
Tower of London
Dinner somewhere near hotel
Day Two (Thursday)
Courtauld Institute Galleries
British Museum
6pm dinner in Covent Garden (already booked)
7:30pm Book of Mormon, Prince of Wales Theatre (already booked)
Day Three (Friday)

5:30pm dinner at Elgar Room (already booked)
7:30 pm Swan Lake at Albert Hall (already booked)

Day one isn't really doable/practical
W/ a 10:00 arrival at LGW don't plan on being checked in to your hotel until maybe 1PM. Count on an hour minimum at LGW (luggage/immigration/catching train) but easily more more. You could make it to EC by noon but everything would have to work miraculously. Borough Market doesn't operate on Wed. and the Tower is pretty 'concentration-intensive" for an arrival day (assuming you are flying in long haul)
Day 4: Do you mean the museum at the RCM?
On day six I'd do the Abbey first - right at opening time, since the queues can get quite long. Try to book a Verger's tour. Then on to the War Rooms

Thank you janisj for your input - appreciate it! The Borough Market website states it is open Mon-Wed from 10 to 3pm but perhaps that is incorrect. Appreciate your comment re: the Tower of London.
I mean the British Music Experience - sounds fun!
Thanks for your comments. I will try to re-jig things.

Thank you, Avalon, I see what you and janisj are telling me - the lunch spots are open at the Market but the market iself is not on from Mon-Wed. Gotcha. Well, I certainly messed up THAT day! Back to the drawing board! Thanks for your comments.
