Kimhe - a big favor to ask of you

Kimhe,
Your passion and knowledge of Spain is remarkable, and I've saved so very many posts that you have commented on. Whether it's food and restaurants, music, or just general knowledge of a place, you've posted wonderful information for so many of our questions here on the board. And therein lies my difficulty -- to find which post had which information!

So, as a huge favor for me (and I'm sure my fellow Fodorites would appreciate it, too), would you be willing to post individual threads with the information for each of the locations or themed topics that you write so much about? For instance, "Kimhe's Seville" or "Kimhe's flamenco recommendations" would be incredibly helpful.

I know this is a lot to ask so if it's not something you have time to do, no worries. We (and I speak for us as the "Royal we", aka the Fodorites) can still make the effort to search the many threads you post on. But if you do find the time......

Many thanks!
Paule

Thank you very much for these kind words, Paule! But I think "kimhe" threads on different "Spain topics" will be both a bit pretentious and perhaps not of much worth, at least not the way I like them to be. I try to make recommendations based on fairly detailed and up to date info according to posters individual interests (I admittedly read too many as potential flamenco aficonados...). And even though Graham Greene suggests that Spain pepresents something that never changes, it does so very much these days ;-). But again, thank you for the idea and the encouragement.

I also appreciate kimhe's posts, especially about flamenco. Recently been reading up on politics and the new emerging Podemos party. IMO, travel means learning more.

Kimhe, I woukdnt think the threads would be pretentious, but I could see why it would feel that way to you. I do love the many recommendations and suggestions you make. And will be working my way through the many threads to review them, now that we're just 2 months away (only 2 months to go!)

Bedar -- of course I do click on kimhe's name -- there are so many posts that he's contributed to that it can be difficult to know which post has what, and it may not be obvious in looking at the original post. I was just hoping to have it a little easier and have everything I want in one place!

It was a good thought, anyway

@ progol: Now that Fodor's has FINALLY restored its search function, the advanced search option should make it a bit easier for you to find what you seek.

Thanks, Kja, good to know. I'll definitely be using it a lot as I start fine tuning the trip.
