kerry car rental

hello,
planning to arrive at Kerry airport on a Tuesday in August, want to rent a car for 3 days while in Dingle, then drop it off in Killarney and experience a train to Dublin. Does anyone know of a car rental company that would be able to accommodate us? Is the train ride from Killarney to Dublin scenic? Do not relish the idea of driving the whole way to Dublin, but must get there that evening (Friday) as we have an event early the next morning. Any advice most appreciated.

The Killarney-Dublin train has some scenic bits, but mostly it's about saving time and effort.
Kerry airport has a few car hire options -- Killarney drop off/pick up options are also available.

Officially the train route is Tralee - Killarney, via Farranfore. The airport is approx. a 10 min walk from the train station: http://www.kerryairport.com/transport.html

I don't see the problem.
You fly into Kerry Airport, pick up car, tour area, return car to airport, get on train in Faranfore and take it to Dublin Heuston.

Route info and times: http://www.irishrail.ie/

Ride from Faranfore to Dublin is 3 3/4 hours, runs about25 Euro, Single (one-way, per person. Looks like there's a train every 2 hours, beginning at 9:18 Am until 19:18 (7:18 PM).
If you buy tickets online (as late as the night before) there are often significant discounts.
