Does anyone have any first hand experience at staying at the Thistle Kensington Palace Hotel, just opposite of Kensington Palace? We can get a really good rate and were wondering if we should move on it.

Hi, stayed there last year. Location is ideal, bus across the street and Kensington High St. tube a few blocks away. Staff cordial, my room was small but adequate with twin beds. Great restaurants in area and lots of shopping. Are you getting the dollars for pounds rate? Can't go wrong with the hotel. Good Luck and have fun.
