Kambly Outlet(Trubschachen) & Affoltern Cheese-Making

In the earliest stages of planning for fall trip to Emmental area. Have been to Switzerland many times already, digging deeper into "off the beaten track."
Considering both the above-mentioned daytrips. Has anyone been to either? Comments about the experience?

Also, suggested hikes in the hills? Found one Langnau to Eggiwil that sounds possible...

Congratulations! Emmental is real Switzerland and not the kind of Titlis/Jungfraujoch/Interlaken Switzerland soooooo admired by many Asian and American people...

Switzerland has more than 60,000 (sixty thousand) kms of well signmarked hiking trails, some o them in the Emmental too.

You may go
from Trubschachen to Napf (viewpoint, hotel, no road),
from Affoltern im Emmental to Lueg (viewpoint) - Burgdorf,
from Kemmeribodenbad (Farm restaurant with the biggest Meringues with cream of the world) to either Brienzer Rothorn (strenous, but you may take the gondola from Soerenberg) or Habkern - Interlaken,
etc. etc......

I never visited the Kambly biscuitfactory, but I know some people who enjoyed it

I ask because I/we will be traveling to both by train, and want to weigh the time expenditures...thanks!
