Just Back from Lisbon and the Alentejo

Check out this trip report from our extremely dashing design director Fabrizio Larocca:

http://www.fodors.com/wire/archives/001350.cfm

If anyone would like to have their trip report presented this format let me know. We could link to it off of the homepage, include pictures, a credit and a link to the thread for further detail and discussion. And by way of thanks we'd send you a book. First-rate reports might even earn a rare pin from our dwindling supply.

Hey, Peter ... thanks for the neat report ... I'm busy right now designing 8 days in Portugal for March ... got a good fare on Continetal, with mercifully only a breif layover in Neward Airport. Yes, you've banned me several times, and lol, I still pop up, being a serious traveller. The Portugal site has been weak for a while ... you and another poster, Steve, have give it some valuable heft. Take care, don't ban me, lol (you'll only force me to get another screen name) and see what you can do to get Patrick reinstated ... yes, he's a pain, but at times does post useful stuff, when he stays on subject. Ciao, Peter, and thanks once again. PS. If anyone posts anything nice about me, send them a pin!!!! By the way, Leone passes along his best wishes.

Re Portugal information (incl. Madeira)
Have visited Portugal three times and found the following site to be very informative. Hope the info helps future travellers plan a visit to a wonderful country:

What a wonderful report! We are planning to visit Portugal in July 2006! Lately, I have noticed a couple of new trip reports - great news for our planning.

Your pictures of the cork tree are facinating! Nice job, Fabrizio!

As far as I can tell, no posts from this OP since this date.

Did anyone else respond to ...

<<If anyone would like to have their trip report presented this format let me know.>>

... I wonder?

Best wishes,

Rex
