Just back-2wk trip- Fantastic thanks all

My 15 yr. old daughter and I just returned from 6 days in London, a quick 24 hr. trip to Brussels (to visit friends) and a 4 day driving trip around the SW part of Ireland.

I've travelled a great deal both for business and pleasure but thanks to all of you who helped me plan this trip, it was by far my best.

I took 6 months to plan our itinery and if anyone would like it, I'd be happy to share.

We did stay at the Kensington Moat House for 70 pounds/nitely for 2 including breakfast recommended here. The location was walking distance to Harrods, Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Our room was okay once we moved to a quiet one with A/C. A/C is not a given in the UK and normally not needed but these rooms became very stuffy. The people at the hotel were terrific and couldn't do enought for us but management needed to pay attention to the things that didn't work - the elevator, paid TV, towel warmer (always hot), door knobs that fell off, etc. Overall it was very, very reasonable and comfortable.
