We leave for Zurich on 19 June 2012. We plan to stay in Ringgenberg for 3 nights and Lucerns for 1 night before going to Austria. We thought of staying near Interlaken to do the Jungfrau and experience of the villages aroun, go to Lucerne and do the Mt. Pilatus Golden Roundtrip and stay over for that night. (4 nights in total)We may be interested in a Swiss Music evening that night. We have to decide now on the final arrangements. Please help me with any information if possible!! We love to experience the culture and people of a country and sometimes even the unknown gems! Thank you!!

I have no idea what a Swiss music evening is - but it sounds like a must miss to me.
For the Jungfrau - or even Pilatus - you need to be aware o f the weather(since their tops are often in the clouds - and if so you can see nothing). We were in Interlaken 3 days efore we got one with the Jungfrau in the clear (although the valley was clear on 2 of the days). I think Pilatus would be an anti-climax after the Junngfrau - since it is somuch lower and less going on in terms of activities and sights.
If yu can do the Jungrau I would do that and then sepdn time on other things (steamers onthe lakes, visting mountain villages and charming towns in the valleys, looking at churches and castles - Thun is great as is Gruyere - and other activities).
I would miss the Swiss Music evening. If you get the chance to go to an Austrian music evening that that's a different event. I agree with nytraveler if you can do the Jungfrau then go, Pilatus is different, the cog wheel railway is the steepest in Europe and for that alone is worth it.
Just did the Jungfrau for the second time last week...very worth it. Beautiful views, but only if it is clear out. Worth the time and money to get there IMO.
Thank you!! Your advice is of great help!! Do you have any experience or knowlledge of the "Golden Pass" to Lake Geneva?
The Golden Pass website is here, http://www.goldenpass.ch/, and I believe you're required to make your seat reservations in advance. Sorry I'm not much help -- our Golden Pass trip is this next week.
Not to hi-jack, but is the Golden Pass part of the Swiss Rail Pass?
It's been years since I went up the Jungfrau, so I leave it to the others to vouch that it's better than Mt. Pilatus, which I have been up much more recently. Based on what the others say, if the weather is good, go for it.
What I liked about the trip up to Mt. Pilatus (and I do recall all of this was on our rail pass), you take a steamer close to the train station on Lake Luzern to Alpnachstad, then take the cogwheel railway up past cows actually wearing cowbells, reaching the top, where there is still snow, even in summer, then coming down on a panorama gondola, and taking a bus back to Lucerne.
Keep in mind that even if it's 100 degrees down in Luzern, bring a jacket because it is freezing up at the top!
