There is a long promenade along the river in Istanbul. This might work for jogging.

You can walk Bebek cost. It is the best of Istanbul. And also Sultanahmet. But if I were you I would take a 2 hours bosphourus tour rather than walking. Especially in the evenings it is really beautiful.

The area around Empress Zoe is very hilly, so it is not good for jogging. The best place to jog, and you would have to take a cab there, is the promenade between the Dolmabahce Palace and the Ciragan Palace Hotel, which is along the Bosphorus. The sidewalks are very wide and flat and there are many trees to shield you from the hot sun.

If it's very hilly, it's the best place for jogging.

So far Gulhane Park near Topaki Palace has worked. Will try promenade on river tonight and post back. In Urgup the road to Nevisher was OK not too much traffic.
