All that complaining about the ads on the side and I don't believe there is one comment about them being gone. Must have gotten used to them, eh?

I've got ads on the right (and the top, for that matter) but they are less obnoxious than they used to be.
Thank you, fodors!

(On the other hand, we all seem to have adjusted to the new logo and color scheme.)

If only "all that complaining" resulted in things being gone here on Fodors~

Hmm, I have an ad to the right but it's not flashing and I only have the ad at the top when I post a reply. Not that I was complaining or anything. Just thought I'd join the survey.

Thanks for reminding me. I am using Mozilla Firefox browser, and I have activated Adblock. It is a simple matter for me to eliminate the ads, and I just did.

Personally I just assume the ads are the price I pay for using the forum. I would rather deal with a few ads then pay a fee!

Folks seem to think that the Internet is free, but someone has to pay the bill.

I actually wouldn't mind a small registration fee, as it could potentially keep some troublemakers off the board (plus, I'd pay $5-10 a year to get rid of the annoying ads).
