Itinerary suggestions Munich -lazburg-Slovenia
We are a family of 5 (kids 11, 15 and 16 all soccer fanatics) who will be visiting family in Slovenia. We are renting a car in Munich and will be doing the trip to Slovenia. We want to spend 2-3 days around Munich and drive through Slazberg on to Slovenia.
I am looking for suggestions in terms of stops we should make sure to make in and around Munich and on our way to Slovenia.
Thanks

LOL! I'm sorry, I know we're not suppose to pick on people for making typing errors, but, this one really caught my attention. You missed it both times, Caro!
To help answer your question, I would say definitely stop in Salzburg. You don't say what time of year you are going, but assume it will be summer since you have kids in school? It will be crowded in the summer, but it's definitely worth a day to see the Hohensalzburg fortress, etc., in the old town.
I would also suggest a stop in Klagenfurt or one of the smaller towns on the Worther See. It's quite pretty around there.

BettyK gave great advice and here are some more suggestions!
Try to go over the Grossglockner Pass. It is the highest in Austria and beautiful.
We also really like the area around Bad Gastein. It is a beautiful little valley with charming towns.
Have fun!
