Itinerary Question 14 days London, Paris, others? Aug 29 - Sept 13

Jump to last reply

My wife and I are traveling to UK and France for 14 days Aug 29 - Sept 13th.

Thur Aug 29 - Flight getting picked up that night by friends in London suburbs. Staying with them until Sun Sept. 1.

Sept. 1st start travel to paris. I was originally planning on returning to London Sept. 8th to stay in a hotel this time, but Avignon and Loire Valley seems like nice destinations. My wife isnt into wine but historic mansions seem like something that would be nice to visit and give us a little retreat from Paris. Is it worth making the trek to avignon as well? Family friends have loved it.

If so how do we schedule everything?

Any other places we should visit?

I was thinking maybe doing outside London trips with our friends as they will have a car to drive around. Any suggestions of things? They live in the northern suburbs.

Thanks so much for the help!!
