It's a lot of ground to cover, but it's not impossible. One day in Rothenburg, two in Munich. One day in transit from Munich to Venice, with a stop for most of the morning and lunch in Innsbruck. Two days in Venice, one in Verona, one in Milan. Then a day in transit from Milan to Frankfurt, with lunch and the afternoon in Lucerne. I'm assuming eight nights between Frankfurt and Frankfurt: one in Rothenburg, two in Munich, three in Venice, and two in Milan. (Leave Venice in the morning, spend the day in Verona, and head to Milan in the evening.)

Will you be going by train? Check schedules at www.sbb.ch.

You've got the basics of an interesting - - albeit VERY ambitious - - loop (Munich to Salzburg - - which you left out, bad decision - - to Venice, to Verona and back again) - - but why start in Frankfurt? This is a little bit like starting in Biloxi to do a trip in Florida.

Fly into Munich.

Best wishes,

Rex
