Itinerary Help!

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are beginning to brainstorm a trip to Europe this coming May. We will be going for 12-14 days (depending on work schedules). We have both been to Europe before and seen many of the major sites and are trying to find the balance between seeing enough while were there, but also having a relaxing time and not packing too much into the trip.

We will be flying out of the Philadelphia area and will start in Holland. I have relatives who live outside of Amsterdam that we would like to visit for the first 2-3 days. Beyond this, we have no plans! I would love to hear suggestions of a couple of other places to visit. We would prefer not to fly when we are over there and would rather take the train and public transportation. We would like to see cities but also would like some quieter days in quaint towns.

I would greatly appreciate any recommended locations that are relativly close to Holland (that we can take the train to) and/or a suggested iteniary! Thank you!
