Itinerary advice for 9 days in London for female solo traveller

Jump to last reply

Hi all, I'm from Singapore and I will be traveling to UK solo this coming summer, spending 9 days in London and 3 days in Edinburgh..

This is my first time to the UK and here's my London itinerary, any advices will be much appreciated, especially for a solo female traveller. Also, will there be any clash in any of the visits?

Thank you!

Day 1 (Sat): Touch down at LHR @ 5.50am. I will be staying near King's Cross. I hope to reach my hotel by 9am to deposit my luggages first.
Portobello market, Oxford Street, Harrods.

Day 2 (Sun): Bath and Stonehenge (8am to 6.30pm)

Day 3 (Mon): Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Les Mis musical night show

Day 4 (Tues): Harry Potter studios tour (12pm entrance). I plan to stay til late evening then head to Hyde Park for a stroll when I get back to London.

Day 5 (Wed): Westminster Abbey, Sandemans tour (11am to ~1.30pm), Kensington palace, Royal Albert Hall, Lion King musical night show (3 days London pass)

Day 6 (Thurs): Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, London Eye in the evening (3 days London pass)

Day 7 (Fri): Windsor castle, V&A Museum or National Gallery (V&A Museum opens til around 10pm while National Gallery opens til 10 pm on Friday night). (3 days London pass)

Day 8 (Sat): Covent Garden (Is Sat a good day to visit?), Harry Potter muggle tour (11am to 1pm), Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown, Wicked musical night show

Day 9 (Sun): Visiting British library in the morning before catching a train to Edinburgh at about 1pm.
