My fiance and I are going on our honeymoon from Aug. 1 - Aug. 10. We are flying into Milan. I am wondering if people can give me suggestions on the best places to go/any good honeymoon deals/hotels that you know of in Italy or Switzerland. So far we have talked about going to Lake Como (My fiance loves the mountains!) and maybe Cinque Terre and Venice. We also would like to go somewhere in Switzerland for a couple of days, but weren't sure where to go. My fiancee has never been to Europe at all. I have been to Rome, Venice and Interlaken in Italy and Switzerland.
Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Thanks.

In that time pick a max of 3 destinations. Consider Luzern as one of them--easy train ride from Como or Lugano.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Switzerland two years ago...we went to Geneva, Schaffhausen, Liechtenstein, Appenzel, and many other cities. Of all the places we visited, the one that is calling us back is St. Moritz. It is beautiful - gondola rides to the top of the snow-capped alps, hiking and bike riding around sunny lakes and fields with wildflowers, fine dining, and plenty of romance. We just couldn't believe that there was so much to do in such a small space. In one day, we could hike on a glacier, and get a tan outside our room. It is also very close to Italy, so that might be nice. I give St. Moritz the highest marks
One thing to keep in mind is that this part of Switzerland is heavily influenced by Italian culture, food, and language. If you want a different Swiss experience, head north to the German area of Switzerland or west to the French area.
There are also themes you could do like chocolate, wine, or cheese. Switzerland boasts some of the best Pinot Noir (called Blaburgunder there) and wine regions, and several chocolate and cheese factories have very nice tours and samples!!!
Sorry one more thing...Switzerland is one of the most expensive places to go. McDonalds will set you back $10 per person, and most sit down places will be at least $15-$20 per person. I should warn you that St. Moritz is one of the more expensive places to go. So if you're on a budget, keep these points in mind as well. Best of luck and enjoy!
