Italy, trip help

Jump to last reply

I am struggeling with the beginning and end of our trip in May. Arrive and drive to somewhere between MIlan and Venice. and preferably something central, ( I have been looking at Soave) so we can mess around some before heading to Venice for 2 nights, then on to tuscany for a week, Near Turin for 2 nights to see family, and then where to stay for 2 nights before heading out of MIlan. I am not a big money shopper, and have been led to believe that there is not a lot of history or charm in MIlan. Is there some where one could enjoy spending a couple of nights, and make it to a 0900 - 10:30 flight? I had considered The lakes north of MIlan, but am worried about getting lost and missing the plane.
Any more helpful advice?
Rosie
