Way too much moving around for me. You lose 1/2 day every time you change hotels.
I would do Pisa as a 1/2 day side trip from Florence (1hr train), add 1 night in Florence, skip Rome, and spend an extra night in Venice.

Hi M,
I would add a day to Venice, a day to Florence and skip Rome this trip.
I would make Pisa, if you must go there, a daytrip from Florence.
Florence/Pisa airport is 1:20 hr. You can take a morning train, see the tower and make it to your plane.
Enjoy your visit.

hi, madar, can we go back a step please?
where are you flying in from?
what flights are already booked?
can you change them or are they written in stone?
you present itinerary is a bit busy, so to really help you, we need to know what your fixed points are, and what we can change.
regards, ann

what annhig's saying. If you could re-arrange your itinerary to be in one direction (ideally north to south) that would save you a lot of backtracking and the attendant cost of time.
However, if your itinerary's in concrete, I'd say for Florence climb brunelleschi's dome at the cathedral and enjoy the marvelous view. Try to work that in on your Thursday morning while visiting the Uffizi on Wednesday and taking your time there. For Venice, Basilica San Marco but because you're there on a sunday, this tour's out

which is unfortunate because we found it well worth the time. Avoid the Rialto bridge unless you're passing by anyway. I'm not really a Rome fan so I'll leave recommendations there to others. Pisa, if you want to work in a visit to the Tower and such before your flight but that would depend on your travel timing. Not a great loss if you can't take it in. Flying out as you are, you might just catch a peak out of the plane window.

Ok So I fly from Malta and arrive in Pisa at 19:20 where I catch a coach or train to Florence. I have 2 nights booked & paid for in Florence.I planned on leaving Florence about 13.00 for Rome (2hr train). In Rome I have 2 nights partially paid. Than I fly (paid for already) to Venice on Saturday and arrive there approximately at 19:30 and booked two nights there(not paid yet). I should than leave Venice to Pisa on Monday about 15:00 (4hr train trip). I have a night booked in Pisa where I fly back to Malta on Tuesday at 15:30.
I dont mind the 2 train trips .... coming from Malta we have no trains or countryside so I do actually enjoy the train trips.
Thanks again and yes still want your help

Why such an early departure from Florence? We took the earliest Eurostar train from Florence to Rome which gets you into Rome @ 08:30. Allows you the best of both worlds unless you just can't stand early mornings. Assuming you're not a morning person, is there any particular reason you wouldn't take Eurostar train #9443 departing Florence @ 5:53 PM and arriving Rome @ 7:30?
Seems to me you're leaving Florence way too early.

As most of the travel framework and some lodging has already been paid for, you apparently only want suggestions of what to see in the cities you will be visiting.
Your time is short, and we don't know your personal interests. But if this were my trip and I had already seen the particular sights in Rome you mention (including Vatican reservation which I hope you already have), this is what I would concentrate on:
Florence: Uffizi, Accademia, Duomo (including a climb to the top/lantern), Medici Chapels, Piazzale Michelangelo. Reservations for the Uffizi and Accademia are highly recommended, if not imperative.
Rome: Galleria Borghese, Pantheon, a couple of churches for either/or art or archeological interest, the Castello, Ara Pacis. Reservation for Galleria Borghese is imperative. If you don't have the Vatican reservation I mentioned above, you may spend most of Friday just getting in to the museums and seeing the basilica.
Venice: Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica, view from the top of the Campanile, Galleria Accademia, Piazza St. Mark's in the evening, view from Giudeca.
You may not have time for all of these sights, and this is just my personal list. You may not be interested in the same things I am. Enough disclaimers?

Thank you all especially Jean. You explained it all to me. It is actually what I wanted just to get a view of the best. I will most definately try to get everything in and hope to let you know. In the meantime I have plenty of time to research all the info and place bookings accordingly.
Thank you all once again..... You thought me one thing - a week is too short for a sightseeing holiday but I tried to get the best in a short time.
