Italy post-wedding Road Trip

Jump to last reply

Hi! So I get married in Chianti, Tuscany on 1st July 2017. We arrive the Wednesday prior and our wedding celebrations will be from Friday to Sunday with our guests leaving on Monday. After our guests have departed we want to have a bit of a mini-moon and use our time in Italy to see more of the sites. We must be home for the following Monday as we both have to return to work :(

Outside of this we are really flexible but completely hopeless. I'd love to see everywhere - Amalfi Coast, Capri, Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan etc. but obviously that's not possible in 6 days. We will pick up a car from the airport to use for the wedding and will quite happy to drive for the entire holiday if this is possible? Also happy to fly back home to the Midlands, UK from any airport in Italy and have a lot of choice to fly back into.

Can anyone suggest how to split our time wisely, so see the best Italy has to offer without being absolutely exhausted as, after all, this is our honeymoon :)?

Thanks in advance,
Chelsea
