italy in Winter

Jump to last reply

Hi All. I would appreciate some assistance in picking some destinations for an italy trip. Ive never been to italy but have traveled a lot. Just this will be my first time in winter. I really only have 7-8 full day (excluding travel to and from) bc we have a baby. We are lucky to be getting away at all. My husbands family is from Italy and we would like to spend at least a night or two in the northern area. They are from a small town outside or Turin.

Anyone have suggestions for making sure we spend some time there but hitting up a few other cities. I was thinking Venice and Rome for sure. I think i could skip Milan and i know we won't get to do souther italy with the time. Maybe Cinque terre or is it all closed during winter?

thank you in advance!
