Looking to go for 10-12 days for a honeymoon in Italy in late May / early June. Considering visiting Rome, Florence, and the Almalfi Coast, maybe Capri? Nothing is booked yet. Hoping for any and all input on a variety packed itinerary, places to stay, and must sees. Would like to splurg on a night or two but looking for reasonable costs on the rest. We have never been to Italy or even Europe so we are looking for lots of advice. Thanks!

Hi BL,

My suggestion for a 1st time visit is
Fly into Venice - 3 nights
train to Florence - 3 nights, visit to Siena
train to Rome - 4 nights, visit to Orvieto
fly home.
If you have more time, I suggest a visit to the Cinque Terre between Florence and Rome.
The AC will be there for your next visit.
Enjoy your honeymoon.
I agree with Ira that you want a max off 3 destinations.
However, if your time in Italy is really 10 nites then I would consider the AC and Rome---5 nites each. Set your dates first then pick the itinerary.
