Italy - Cinque Terre

Jump to last reply

Hello - I'd like to plan a trip to Italy for our 30th wedding anniversary, and would love any updates on the conditions of the Cinque Terre trails. I'd heard some of the trails got washed out/closed. Might anyone know of the current condition of the trails, or where I might find that info? I'm looking at September/October of 2016 based on temps/rainfall info found on the internet. I'd prefer to go mid-Oct to mid-Nov, but it appears much rainier by then. Any advice/input is appreciated.
Besides lots of day hiking, we'd like to also do some easy - moderate biking tours. Any recommendations of locations/tour companies for that? As far as places, Venice and Florence are both highly recommended. Other suggestions are most welcome, as well as an itinerary, of sorts. I'm thinking we'd allow between 2-3 weeks. Thanks much.
