Hi,
Any pros or cons on their idependent tours? It seems that it might be less expensive then booking it myself. The tour is not that much more than a flight. It doesn't seem to be very "tour like" which is my preference.
Thanks for the input.

My wife and I took the Italiatour 5 day trip to Rome (I actually saw it advertised in the Frommers newsletter). It took several attempts and over 45 minutes on hold to get through on the phone. However, once I got through, the service was excellent and I thought that we ended up with a great price (although we upgraded hotels). If your are going to Rome, I can recommend the Palatino Hotel. The biggest drawback to Italiatour is Italia airlines. The seats are not very comfortable and the service is only fair (at best).
