Italian trains on Sunday

Jump to last reply

I am planning to buy our place tickets soon for a trip next May to northern Italy. We’ll be traveling on two Sundays - May 15 and 22, 2016 from Florence to Santa Margherita Ligure, and from Varenna-Essino to Verona.

Are either of these holidays or would there be fewer trains for any reason? I can’t see that far ahead on Trenitalia, but it looks like other Sundays in 2015 are just fine. I just don’t want to get the tickets and find out that the days are not good for traveling.

Many thanks!
