Hello,
I am planning on spending few nites in Istanbul this July. Is Sultanahmet or near Taskism square a better location to stay, considering I will visit both areas? Any opinion on Faros Sirecki hotel, Tasmak Sultan hotel or hotels near Taskism?

Is there a budget or price range you want to keep within?
It just sounds to me like you're throwing out names of hotels, kind of like a dartboard of the city.
If you search this board, you'll find several posts that compare/contrast the merits of hotels in Sultanahmet and the Taksim (note the spelling) Square area.
Good luck!
Hello Fodorites,
Can anyone else chime in some helpful information on rec hotels in Istanbul? I have searched the forums, not too much intel in Istanbul, so if anyone has some suggestions please send them.
Also, any opinion on Faros Sirecki hotel or Tasmak Sultan hotel?
Many Thanks- I look forward to productive feedback!
