Our Celebrity cruise ship docks at 6 am.My flight from Ataturk airport is at 1 PM.We are 4 aduls with luggage.Can you suggest an operator for private taxi.What would be the cost and how long it takes from the cruise ship port to Ataturk airport Istanbul.

Regular taxis will be too small for four with luggage.
Check airport shuttles on the web. They should not charge more than 50-60 Euros for all of you for a small van. You can also negotiate. We use a company called "Back Up" but it may only be for members. In any case, check their web site. They take us to the airport with a BMW 520.
You should be at the airport about 2.5 hours before flight to give you ample time for check in and security.
to be at IST at 10:30AM, you should leave by 9:45AM.

We were 4 passengers with luggage and were very happy with their service: friendly & reliable with clean Mercedes vans & A/C. We used them to & from Atatürk Airport; as well as from our hotel to the port.

We have have been very satisfied with www.istanbulairportservice.com on two separate trips to Istanbul, both before or after cruises. You could expect to pay 40-45 Euros for a nicely equipped van to the airport
