Istanbul Airport -- Time to get through Customs and get to another flight.
Hello
I arrive on Turkish Airways at 18:30 into Istanbul. Is the airport easy to navigate to catch another Turkish Airways flight an hour later at 19:40? Will Customs take awhile?
Thank you. (I'm trying to avoid staying over night in Istanbul....but if you think I won't make the flight, is there a hotel close by with an airport shuttle?)

I didn't connect in Istanbul but I do remember it took very little time to go through Immigration. I think about 15 minutes including buying a visa which you won't need if you're only transiting. There wasn't any customs.
Are you checking your bags through to your final destination? That would make a difference if you had to get your bags and then re-check them for another flight. If that is the case then I think I would want more than 1 hour.
