Isle of Wight to Paris
We are trying to plan an England / France trip. Our current itinerary would be made much easier if there was a smooth way to get from the Isle of Wight to Paris. Is our best bet to head back to London, and then go to Paris from London? Or are we overlooking an easier way to get from the area around the Isle of Wight to Paris?

Either:
1) Ferry/train to London, and Underground to St Pancras, www.nationalrail.co.uk
2) Eurostar to Paris, www.eurostar.com
Or...
1) Ferry Ryde to Portsmouth & taxi to Continental Ferry Port.
2) Sail overnight in cosy en suite cabin from Portsmouth to Le Havre with Brittany Ferries, www.brittany-ferries.co.uk - she usually sails around 23:15 and arrives around 08:30. Taxi to the station.
3) Then take a train from Le Havre to Paris St Lazare, www.captaintrain.com - there's usually one around 10:00 arriving in central Paris at 12:10.
