Isle of Man, Classic TT

Jump to last reply

I am planning a trip for myself and husband in August to Isle of Man for the Classic TT. I believe this is the first year for this race. If you have been to the TT or MPG and have recommendations for B&B, homestay or hotel, please advise. Also, we would like to see more of the island in between the races, do we need a car, or will public transit be enough? Any other information would be most appreciated. We are flying from Denver, Colorado and plan on four weeks total trip. Our first trip to UK, we want to spend time in Ireland and Great Britain. Better to fly to Ireland and then on to Isle of Man and back to GB? Or vice versa?
Thanks for your help.
