Islands in mid October

I'll be working in Greece the first half of October and am looking to spend a few days somewhere after my work is done. I'm wondering if things will be open. Right now I'm looking at Samos, Lesvos and Poros. These are my options because there are flights to these islands that work with my schedule. I'm happy to rent a car to explore the island but will also be looking to relax on a beach and do some hiking and exploring.

I definitely want to stay somewhere with a sea view if not right on the water. It'll be a very budget oriented getaway and am hoping to find a studio with a kitchenette or at least a small fridge to keep yogurt and drinks.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't need a lot of nightlife or anything but don't want to be where most things are shut down. My dates will be 14-18 October

Thanks so much!!
